He was predeceased by: his brother William Ladley; his brother-in-law Raymond Batzel; and his parents, William C. Ladley and Margaret Adamson Ladley. He is survived by: his wife Glenda; his children, Donna Yost (James) of Mill Hall, PA, James Ladley (Kimberly) of Byron and Susan Ladley of Geneseo; his grandchildren, Lindsay Shedal (Judd) and Isaac Ladley; and his sister Sharon Batzel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the International Gospel Missions: A Baptist Mission Agency, 990 Calkins Rd., Rochester, NY 14623 or the Livingston County Hospice Fund, 2 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
