He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mowers and Louisa Mowers (Cool); his wife Betty Jane Mowers; his daughter Julia Dee Mowers; and his brother Robert Mowers.
He is survived by: his close friend Irma Crews of Little Falls, NY; his children, Ned Mowers (Sandra) of Dolgeville, NY, Denise Cramer of Dolgeville, NY and Stephen Mowers (Lisa) of Cheshire, CT; his grandchild Col. Ryan Mowers (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Mason Mowers, Connor George, Colden Mowers, Emie Mowers and Lincoln Carney; his sisters, Pauline Knapp of Dolgeville, NY and Marcia Cigale of Flowery Branch, GA; and his caregivers, Carole Danforth, April Rickard, Lorraine Peets and Loretta Kotary. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
