He was predeceased by: his sister Jennifer Jackson; and his nephew Quinn Wilson. He is survived by: his parents, Linda Kennedy and Patrick Kennedy; his siblings, Jean-Paul Kennedy and Dr. Amanda Wilson; his brother-in-law Dr. Scott Wilson; his nephew Morgan Wilson; his brother-in-law Mark Jackson; and his nieces, Cassandra Jackson, Jessica Jackson, Alexis Jackson and Madison Jackson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, many cousins, two beloved dogs and a cat.
In 2016 Christian was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
