He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley June Schwan; and his sisters, Martha Curry, Rose Gartz and Veronica Schwan. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Giglio (Gerald) of Retsof, Eric Schwan (Janie) of York, Amy Lakin (Steve) of Fort Smith, AR and Kurt Schwan (Cynthia) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Michael Giglio (Jessica), Jonathan Giglio (Melody), Andrea McDermott (Daniel), Billy Schwan (Carey), Johnston Burdick (Courtney), Leigh Burdick, Emma Lakin, Kacey Schwan and Corey Schwan; his great grandchildren, Jake Giglio and Layla Giglio; his sister Helen Babcock (Jim) of Dansville; and his parents, William Schwan and Helen Winhurst Schwan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
