He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCann and Rose McGovern McCann (McGovern); and his sister Patricia McCann. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Veneri of Anthony's Church; his daughter Louise Serpico of Fairfax, VA; and his granddaughters, Catherine, Elizabeth and Victoria.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home (168 Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (10 Squire Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703).
