She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Burke and Mary Burke; her husband John; her son-in-law Peter Smith; and her siblings, Breeda Flynn, Jackie, Mattie Joe and Padraig Burke.

She is survived by: her children, Fiona, Sean and Billy; her children-in-law, Michael Higgins, Gianna and Maureen; her grandchildren, Arianna, Ava, Kellan, Liam, Seany, Saoirse, Aidan, Avery, Brayden, Scarlett and Whitney; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Duffy, Michael and Tommy Burke. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home & Cremation Services (732 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Saint John the Baptist Church (670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A burial was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
