It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Mahedy (Yonkers, New York), who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Donohoe and Susan Donohoe; her significant other John; her grandson Michael Ruggiero; and her siblings, Tommy, Eddie, Harry, Patrick, Hannah Reynolds, Theresa Gaffney and Katherine Freil.
She is survived by: her children, Mary T. Mahedy, JoAnn O'Rourke (Bob), Eileen Ruggiero (Mike), Janet Burgon (late Bill) and John Mahedy; her grandchildren, Brendan (Audra), Justin (Steve), Ryan, Caleigh O'Rourke, Andrew Ruggiero (Jessica), Andrea Cullinan (Brian), Claire, Margaret, Keith Burgon, Alexander (Madeline), Carolina and James Mahedy; her great grandchildren, Henry and Rory; and her siblings, Christina Biggins, Eta Reilly, Annie Hoverkamp and Bridie McDermott.
