Mary E. Powell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary E. Powell (Yonkers, New York), who passed away on April 26, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mary may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George T. Powell and Josephine Grasso; and her brother Timothy. She is survived by: her son Christopher O'Shea; her siblings, Maureen (David), George (Jeannie), Margaret (Dennis) and Jeanne (Corey); and her nieces, Denise and Catherine.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hodder Farenga Funeral Home (899 McLean Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704).
