With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Manoo Samaroo (Yonkers, New York), born in Hampton, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Manoo left this world on February 11, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As Manoo departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Manoo may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Manoo leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby; and his children, Unis, Yvonne, Linda, Easho, Kasho, Nandy and Amo. He is also survived by his grandchildren & his great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Funeral Home & Cremation Services (732 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woolworth Chapel at the Woodlawn Crematory (3800 Jerome Ave, Bronx, NY 10470).
