Leonard J. Canora Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Leonard J. Canora of Yonkers, New York, who passed away at the age of 92, on March 31, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antoinette DiBuno (Tolli) and Dominic Canora; his stepfather Louis Tolli; his grandson Joseph Canora; and his son-in-law John R. Amendola.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Canora; his children, Patricia Amendola, Donna D'Andrea (Richard), Robert Canora (Joanne), Leonard Canora, Jr. (Tonianne) and Lisa Gagliardi (Anthony); his grandchildren, Richard D'Andrea Jr. (Carolyn), Danielle Blais (Alain), Leonard Joseph III, Nicholas D'Andrea, John Amendola (Elizabeth), Michael Amendola, Nicole Connell (Kevin), Thomas D'Andrea (Kayla), Lianna Gagliardi, Devon Canora and Andrew Canora; and his great grandchildren, Douglas Mark and Giovanni Amendola. He is also survived by four step granddaughters and twelve step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc. (499 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A Mass was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (5 Strathmore Rd, Scarsdale, NY 10583). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Valhalla, NY 10595).
