We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2023, at the age of 16, Kayla Grace Rooney in Yonkers, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, Patrick Shine and John Joe Rooney. She is survived by: her family, Galway and Clare; her parents, Michael Rooney and Siobhan Rooney; her siblings, Jack Rooney and Sarah Rooney; her grandparents, Nana Kay Shine and Josephine Rooney; and her aunts and uncles, Dylan Shine (Sarah), Cathy Shine (Darren Guerrin), Nuala Shine, Aine Daly (Fergus), Thomas Rooney (Ursula) and Christopher Rooney (Lisa). She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kayla's name to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
