He was predeceased by: his parents, LaMonte S. Frens and Laura J. McCabe Frens; and his siblings, Lance, Robert, Norman "Gene" Frens and Lana Mower.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy L. Bishop Frens; his daughter Rachel Frens (Shawn Blanc) of Warsaw; and his siblings, Lindsay Frens (Carol) of Elba and Pauline Walker of Batavia.
