She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Gorton and LaHoma Squires Gorton; and her husband Clayton "Bud" Strait. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Wells (Clarence) of Tennessee, Barbara Mann (Steven) of Warsaw, Heather Smith (Mark Majors) of Ohio and James Wheeler (Patty) of Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Jay Kehl, Heather Wheeler, Cory Wheeler, Christa Heinle, Ryan Smith and Marie Mann; her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Victoria and Zayden Wheeler; and her pet Luna. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
