With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan J. DuPont of Wynantskill, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on July 29, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gardner and Clara Goetz Gardner; her husband John; and her siblings, Connie Baker (late Dave), Janet Schroeder (late John Fisher), Mary Rosencrans (Bob), William Gardner (late Thelma), Robert Gardner and Fred Gardner (Diane).
She is survived by: her children, John DuPont of Averill Park, Susan McDowell (Michael) of Wynantskill and William DuPont of Connecticut; her grandchildren, Jaime Welch (Anthony) of Rensselaer, Morgan DuPont of Florida, Courtney McDowell of Virginia and Katie McDowell of Saratoga; her great grandchildren, Aria Welch, JJ Welch of Guilderland, Brynlee Welch of Rensselaer and Kynslee Welch of Rensselaer; and her siblings, Patricia Mangene (late Henry) of Wynantskill, Ronald Gardner (Linda) of North Troy, Debbie Shevy (late Rick) of Watervliet and Timothy Gardner (Patty) of Watervliet.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's hospital or St Jude the Apostle Church.
