It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Demarest of Wynantskill, New York, born in Watervliet, New York, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Demarest and Mary Vollmer Demarest; and his brother Frederick Demarest. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Hurley Demarest; his children, Barbara Keough (Shawn) of Florida, Maryellen Carl (Mickey) of Wynantskill, David Demarest (Kimberly) of Wynantskill and Robert Demarest (Deborah) of Wynantskill; his grandsons, Andrew Leonard Jr., Christopher Leonard, Joseph Demarest, Samuel Demarest and Jacob Demarest; and his siblings-in-law, Carole Demarest, Marilyn Mayo (late William), Chriss Hurley and Michael Hurley (Deborah). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
