She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schlindwein and Ella Schlindwein; her husband Russell Laustrup; her siblings, Virginia Heber, Helen Montgomery and John Schlindwein; and her sons, Mark and Robert Laustrup.
She is survived by: her children, Donna (Tom Benson), Nancy Laustrup of Troy, Sandra Bejian of Waterford and Russ (Jennifer Laustrup); her grandchildren, Justin (Morena), Jason (Lori), Megan (James), Christopher, Sara (Eddie), Kari (Rob), Dan, Bethany (Mike), Kyle (Kellie), Brad, Leah (Taylor), Carly, Chad, Riley (Kerriann), Nathan, Grant and Lisa; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Taylor, Tessa, Kamryn, Charlie, Gabe, Aubriana, Liliana, Soren, Sam, Zeke and Ezra.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wynantskill Funeral Home (294 Whiteview Rd, Wynantskill, NY 12198). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (50 Leversee Rd, Troy, NY 12182). A committal service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (50 101st St, Troy, NY 12180).
