With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy M. Ruff of Wynantskill, New York, who passed away on November 13, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Dorothy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dorothy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dorothy leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Keefe and Josephine Kelly Keefe; and her husband John J. Ruff. She is survived by: her daughter Jo Anne Mitchum (Ned); her grandson Shane Mitchum (Alyssa); and her great grandchildren, Jack, Baker and Eloise Mitchum. She is also survived by family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
