He was predeceased by: his parents, Fitz Thomas and Rosetta Thomas; his wife Phyllis Eileen Arthur Thomas; and his sisters, Cynthia Edwin and Anne Marie Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Thomas (Martha), Debra A Skeen and Denise Miller; his grandchildren, Natasha Miller, Lindsay Thomas, Erica Thomas, Noah Thomas, Elijah, Isaiah Thomas, Mariah Thomas, Leah Thomas, Nate Berkley and Ty Jones; and his stepgrandchild Ashlee Riley. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
