It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ann Piel of Wynantskill, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Ann Wachanus-Bulmer; her husband Donald Piel (Sniffer); and her sister Jo Ann C. Piel. She is survived by: her daughter Charlene Martel (Robert) of Castleton; her grandchildren, James McAuliffe (Andrea LaCrosse), Christiana Martel and Daniel Piel; her great grandchild Caden McAuliffe; and her brother John Bulmer, Sr. (Theresa). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in memory of Betty Ann may be made to Community Hospice or the Mohawk-Hudson Humane Society.
