He is survived by: his wife Angela Edwards; his children, Kimberly Ellis (Brian) of Spartanburg, SC, Mona, Peachee Edwards and Lamel Edwards; his stepdaughters, Chee Chee of New York, Diana of New York and Shainqua of New York; his grandchildren, Brian Jr., Brianna, Brittany and Leyia; his siblings, Pastor Mary Jo Atkinson (Bobby Ray) of Wilson, NC, Ed Lee Edwards of Silver Springs, MD and Elder Wiley Edwards of Wilson, NC; his aunts and uncles, Wilma Knight of East Orange, NJ, Grace Bullock, Mable Edwards of Wilson, NC, Howard Edwards and Leroy Peterson of Wilson; his mother-in-law Deloris Walcott; his siblings-in-law, Hattie, Lynese Edwards of Wilson, NC, Cynthia Williams, Rossetta Herbert, Clara Edwards of New York, Vrlelyn Patterson and Vincent Patterson of New York; and his friends, Jasper Barnes and Wiley Ward. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, a host of other relatives.
