He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis S. Schmaus and Rose A. Schmaus (Clark); his sister Marita Stalknecht; and his sister-in-law Sandra Schneider. He is survived by: his wife Susan Grace Schmaus (Kitson); his siblings, Rosanna Tregidgo (John), Marianne Bianchini (Rick) and Laurence Schmaus; and his sisters-in-law, Lori Lade and Marlene Arlotta (Patrick). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
