Shafer (Madden); his wife Ida Shafer (Foote); his grandchildren, Justin Conrad (Jenna), Nicholas Goss (Natalie), Steven Goss and Cassidy Goss; his great grandchildren, Jaylynn and Jase; and his siblings, Gloria Travis, Pat Sperbeck, Sylvia Walsh, William Shafer (Mary Alice), Richard Shafer, James Shafer (Mary Jane), Sandra "Suzie" Mickle and Carol Rifenbark. He is also survived by married on October 26, 1968, his children.
