He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hill and Beatrice Hill (Germond); and his brothers, Harold, John and Richard Hill.
He is survived by: his spouse Audrey Ruth Townsend; his children, Shelly Kane (Andrew) of Westford, Virginia Portes (Charles) of Lake George, Robert E. Hill Jr. of East Worcester and Carol Vosatka (Brian) of Westford; his grandchildren, Daniel Caballer, Michael Caballer, Jennifer Gerlach (Jeff), Sylvia Hernandez, Samuel Hernandez, Joseph Portes, Samantha Fedor (Jim) and David Vosatka; his great grandchild Tenley Gerlach; his siblings, Donald Hill (Sandra) of North Carolina, Eugene Hill (Marion) of Missouri, James Hill (Marj) of West Oneonta, Steve Hill of Otego and Linda Fitzpatrick (Patrick) of Davenport; and his sister-in-law Joan Hill of Oneonta.
