We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2025, at the age of 79, Harry James Holloway of Worcester, New York, born in Edgefield, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Harry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Harry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Holloway (Furtado); and his parents, Fred Holloway and Harriet Holloway (Singleton). He is survived by: his children, Danny Carreira and Christina Abreu; and his sister Eloise Holloway. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Rebello Funeral Home & Crematory (901 Broadway, East Providence, RI 02914). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Francis Xavier Church (81 N Carpenter St, East Providence, RI 02914). A committal service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (550 Wampanoag Trl, Riverside, RI 02915).
Harry's leadership and guidance left an indelible mark on countless lives, and his contributions to education will be long remembered.
