He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Collins and Joan Stevenson Collins; and his wife Beth Lipton Collins. He is survived by: his sons, Jason (Amy) of Queensbury, NY and Shane Collins of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Hayden, Ryleigh and Fiona; and his sister Kim Collins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home (87 Main St, Phoenicia, NY 12464). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Phoenicia Library to promote children's literacy.
