He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Meisler and Sylvia Schulman Meisler; his sons, Evan and Benjamin Meisler; and his mother-in-law Diane McComiskey.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanine; his sons, Alex and Daniel Meisler; his siblings, Kenneth Meisler (Laurie) and Meryl Meisler (Patricia O'Brien); his father-in-law Howard McComiskey; his siblings-in-law, Alison Burke (Tom) and John McComiskey (Merrilyn); and his friend Helene Gordon (Robert Straus). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and countless friends.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to https://www.everytown.org or https://www.sandyhookpromise.org Family and friends are welcome to a repast at the St. John's Holly Hills Parish Hall at 5:30pm immediately following the gathering at the Gormley Funeral Home.
