He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Engel and Gertrude Rosenblatt Engel. He is survived by: his wife Megan Daly; his children, Toby Daly-Engel (Jeff Eble) of Melbourne, FL and Jake Daly-Engel of Albany, NY; his sister Naomi Engel Zirofsky (Stuart Zirofsky) of Silver Springs, MD; and his grandsons, Kai and Finn Eble.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Frank's name to the Woodstock Rescue Squad, Family of Woodstock, and the ACLU.
