It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Plante (Woodside, New York), who passed away on September 4, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Maxner and Mary Maxner; her husband Wilfred Plante; her children, Debra Cunningham (Joseph), Diane Fitzgerald (Edward), Michael Plante (April), Donna Dennis (George), Stephen Plante (Rosa), Doreen Plante, Darlene Philbin (James) and Dina Plante; and her siblings, Helen, Edward, William, Ruth Kubinak, Catherine Finnigan, Marie Morris and Sally.
The family request in lieu of flowers donations to the St. Sebastian Parish Center c/o Harry Connor, 39-60 57th Street, Woodside, New York 11377 in memory of Joan Plante would be greatly appreciated.
