With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Kearney of Woodside, New York, born in Astoria, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2024 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Piccola and Anna Love Piccola; and her brothers, John and Edward. She is survived by: her significant other William F. Kearney; her children, Donna Flannery (William), Debra Kearney, Dale Kearney, Matthew Kearney (Sharon) and Neil Kearney (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Lindsay Smith, Robert Smith (Yolanda), Margaret Kearney, William Kearney, Ava Kearney and Matthew Kearney; and her great grandchildren, Lucas Smith, Mya Smith and Alexander Gallardo.
