He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy and Lester; his granddaughter Jessica Nosar; his brother Elson Palmiter; and his son-in-law Alan Nosar.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Palmiter of Jasper; his children, James (Shelia Palmiter), Jill (Darrin VanOrsdale), Michael (Leta Palmiter) and Michelle (Roland Button); and his sisters, Nancy Lee Blankenship (Noel) of Kent and Darlene Palmiter-Woodruff (John) of Tampa, FL.
