He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Travis and Doris VanDerworker Travis; and his siblings, Bonnie Sweet, William Kelley, John Kelley and Robert Kelley.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Travis; his children, Tina Horne (Mike) of Beaufort, SC, Michelle Christian (Kenny) of Edenton, NC and Albert "AJ" Travis of Addison; his granddaughters, Amanda Christian, Marie Stratton and Julie Christian; his great grandchildren, Devin Williams and Serenity Williams; and his sisters-in-law, Sandy Owens (Ken Hotaling) and Phyllis Zuraski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in Dick's memory are suggested for either Paradise Garden Animal Haven in Woodhull or care First Hospice.
