She is survived by: her parents, Samuel Byler and Gertrude Byler; and her siblings, Fannie Garber (Samuel), Lydia Kurtz (Stephen), Joe (Barbara), Christian (Emily), Daniel (Leanna), Jonas (Cindy), Samuel Jr., Omar (Miriam) and Israel Byler (Jennifer).

Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the H. P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home - Woodhull (1607 Main St, Woodhull, NY 14898). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

“I met Malinda at Omar and Miriams wedding this past fall. When I was standing as a bridesmaid, God highlighted your precious daughter to me and I stood praying for her. I was blessed to meet her and we talked about how she liked her sparkly dress and she liked Miriam. Since I met her she made a big impression on me and I continued to pray for her. In light of this devastating loss. I pray your family takes time to grieve and remember and celebrate precious moment. You are in our prayers!”
