He is survived by: his children, Nicole Marie Brewer, Richard Lee Phillips, Diana Michelle Garvansites, Crystal Opal Griffin and Charles Nelson Phillips; and his sisters, Connie (Herbert Mack), Princelia Dimick (Phillips), Patricia (Charles Wilson), Betty (Clair Matteson) and Helen Phillips.
