He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Hanaway and Mary M. Hanaway (Harding); his sister Jackie; and his brother-in-law Mark Bellis. He is survived by: his nephew Brandon (Elizabeth Bellis) of Chesapeake, VA; and his great-nephews, Joseph and Dominic Bellis. He is also survived by aunt and several cousins.
