He is survived by: his mother Arlene Miller Wheaton of Canisteo; his wife Tammy Wheaton; his children, Clorinda Kendrick (Maverick) of Columbia, MS and Brandon Wheaton (Sarah) of Stringer, MS; his stepchildren, Alan Hurler (Jessica) of Potter Brook, PA and Blane Hurler of Elmira; his grandchildren, Matti, Grace, Brody, Tori, Logan, Brenden, Abigayle, Madison, Reagan and Bryar; his great grandchildren, Jonathon and Bailey; and his siblings, Deb Jacobs of Canisteo, Randy Wheaton (Patrice) of Westfield, Brian Wheaton of Knoxville, Sue Reigh (Rick) of Harrison Valley, Shane Wheaton (Betsy) of Dumore, KY and Pam Johnson of Pensacola, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the H. P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home - Woodhull (1607 Main St, Woodhull, NY 14898). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
