He was predeceased by: his parents, David William and Verna I. Freeman Swancott; his son Jason Murray Swancott; and his siblings, Phillip, David Swancott, Ruth Swancott, Valetta Gookins and Lorene Young.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Jenks; his son Daniel Lee; his daughter-in-law Sarah Swancott; his daughter Crystal Lynn Ringwald (Jim); his siblings, Joyce Myers of Winchester, VA, Marjorie Parry, Sylvia Hough, Floyd, Douglas Swancott (Judy) of Pulaski, NY and Jeannette Groszik (Dane) of Middletown, NY.; and his caregiver Maria. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.
