He was predeceased by: his parents, John Beardslee and Dorothy Beardslee (Marion); his sister Shirley; and his grandson Tommy. He is survived by: his wife Rita Beardslee; his stepchildren, Deirdre (Stephen) and Aleen; his children, Jon, Dee and Noell (Rick); his sisters, Lois (Jim) and Lillian; and his grandchildren, Krisy, Jared, Michael and Christopher "CJ".
