He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Cahoon and Marjorie Cahoon (Pitcher); and his grandchildren, Alison van Es and Alexander William Gleken. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Wilson Cahoon; his children, Pamela Lee (Richard), Thomas Cahoon (Martha), Lisa Calley (Greg), Elizabeth Ludwig (Don), Mary van Es (Dennis) and Will Cahoon (Tiffiny); and his siblings, Duane (Nancy), Joan, Ginny (Dave), Suzanne (Larry), Emily (David), Bob (Shelley), Joe (Tina), Jim (Katie) and Melinda (Bill).
