He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Welkley Sr. and Helen Mater Welkley; and his parent-in-law Russell Pelow (Betty). He is survived by: his wife Judith Pelow Welkley; his children, Russ (Tammy), Eric and Diane; his grandchildren, Kristi, Sarah, Jake, Lindsay, Cody, Jordan and Braden; his great grandchild Madeline; his sister Helen Schultz (LeRoy); and his sister-in-law Mary Kay Birch (Jim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
