He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Pratt Sr. and Dorothy Pratt; and his brothers, Joseph Pratt Jr. and Arthur Pratt. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Pratt; his daughter Kathy Rogers; his grandchildren, Robert Whalen (Karen Almond), Joseph Whalen Jr. (Angie Wallace) and Nicole Ward (Bill Ward Jr.); his great grandchildren, Taylor Whalen, Tanner Whalen and Amelia Whalen; and his brother Walter Pratt (Barbara).
