He was predeceased by : his parents, Morris and Frances Ramsdell (Locke); his siblings, Reginald, Morris Jr. Ramsdell, Joanne Noblett, Shirley Montgomery and Grace Montgomery; and his great grandchildren, Addison and Brielle Belile.

He is survived by : his wife Amy Ramsdell (Walter); his children, Kevin (Cely), Mark (Lisa), Scott (Evelyn), Tim (Becky), Craig (Liz), Jon (Libby) and Shirley LaGarry (William); his siblings, Kay Jenkins and William Ramsdell (Erma); and his brother-in-law Dave Montgomery. He is also survived by 29 Grandchildren, 42 Great Grandchildren.
