He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Smith and Stella Smith (Stone); and his brothers, James and Robert Smith. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Goodrich; and his children, Richard (Diana Smith), Robert (Melissa Smith), Pamela (Neil Victor), Patricia Smith of Chelsea, MA and Lauri (George Bourikas). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, several great - grandchildren, and a great great grandchild.
