John Brown Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Brown (Winthrop, New York), who passed away at the age of 84, on January 2, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of John Brown to show support.

As we bid John farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayland Brown and Katie Brown; and his son-in-law Chuck Reynolds (Danny Truax). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Halloran; his children, Randy Brown (Marie), Todd Brown (Chong), Jay Brown (Tammy), DeeDee Reynolds and Danielle Wilson (Darren); and his siblings, Donald Brown (Mary) and Sally Fay (Larry). He is also survived by many family members including 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, brother and sister in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.

Contributions in his memory can be made to the Tri-Town Minor Hockey, PO Box 358, Brasher Falls, NY 13697 or Tri-Town Community Center, PO Box 40, Brasher Falls, NY 13613.
