She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis Lauber and Ruth Lauber (Perry); her sister Patricia Cox; and her pet Cojo. She is survived by : her husband Jack Phelix; her children, Vickie, Terry Compo (Rose Zerniak) of Hopkinton and Suzanne (Edwin Tracy); her sisters, Elizabeth Dashnaw of Nicholville, Sue Lauber of Syracuse and Frannie Hazelton of Parishville; her grandchildren, Jennifer Cootware, Crystal Hewey Norfolk and Linzy Compo N. Lawrence; and her great grandchildren, Caden, Hailyn Hewey, Sylas and Jayce Smith. She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to St. Jude's, St. Regis Falls Cat Palace, Tri Town Rescue Squad or Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley, Inc.
