He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burnett and Esther Burnett (Wells); his grandchildren, Dexter Thomas Burnett and Cassie L. Burnett; his great grandchildren, Amelia Marie and Savannah Lorraine; and his siblings, Jean (Jack Edwards), Eleanor (Tommy Davis), Albert, Paul, David and Richard (Lorraine).
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Walker Miller; his former wife Sandra Greenwood; and his brothers, Arthur (Wanda Burnett), Dale (Irene Burnett) and Andy (Ruth Burnett). He is also survived by many grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
