He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Tompkins and Frances Tompkins (Perri); his son Bobby; and his brother Skip. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his brothers, Joe (Patty), Gary (Helen), Michael (Susan) and Jay (Marianna); his sister-in-law Sue Tompkins; his grandsons, BJ and Christopher Tompkins; and his stepchildren, Sarah and Billy Forbes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
