It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garry S. Mayes of Wingdale, New York, born in Croton Falls, New York, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernando Mayes and Mildred Mayes (Totten); his brother Roger; and his children, Malcolm Mayes and Pamela Sluk.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ingersol; his children, Garry Mayes, Jr. of Wingdale, Joseph Mayes, Sr. of Pawling, Laura Shook of Wingdale, Barbara Middlestat of Wingdale and Jacqueline Mayes of Wingdale; and his sister Judith Ray of Dover. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
