He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Walt Bowen and Jimmy Smith (Pops); and his friend Wade Decker. He is survived by: his daughters, Cassidy (Jon Launt) and Paige Smith; his parents, Steve Smith and Colleen Harrison (Bill); his siblings, Kyle Bolles (Lisa), Holly Gabriel and Siera Smith; his nieces and nephews, Damon, Dylan Decker, Isabel, Melina Gabriel, Lyla and Ella Bolles; his cousin Brad Woodmansee; and his close friends, Steven, Mindle Deinhardt, Kurt, Lanee Decker (Nay Nay), Andrew, Amanda Bosket, Tammy, Roger Newman, Darcy and Jason Fortunato. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and coworkers.
