He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Outman and Harold Outman; his siblings, Beverly Heath, Reva Norton, Shirley Bickford, Sherry Outman and Arland Outman; and his son-in-law Sherm Merchant.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Susan Merchant, Gail Maloy (Michael), Scott Outman (Barbara) and Timothy Outman (Theresa); and his brother Theodore Outman. He is also survived by five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
