He was predeceased by: his parents, Olwen V. Hale, and Wilbur B. Hale, Sr. of Scranton, Pennsylvania; his siblings, Bill (Joanne), John and Nancy Swiencki; and his daughter Rhea.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughter Mara; his brother Ted (Carole); his siblings-in-law, Audrey (John) and Edward (Nancy); and his godchildren, Nanine Gramigna and Todd Hale. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
